We are proud to announce that KVNR (the Royal Association of Dutch Ship Owners) has affiliated itself with Techniek Nederland and Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) as a Supporting Organisation for OMDS and 2BA.
As well as an increasing number of companies in the maritime manufacturing industry, more and more shipping companies are making grateful use of the continually updated product data and corresponding extensive trading information to be found in the 2BA data pool. That means that this sector too is actively involved in the Maritime Masterplan objective of digitalising more and sharing data. The fact is that doing so results in more efficiency and a reduction in failure costs
Digitalisation and data sharing are crucial steps towards working more efficiently and reducing failure costs. With the addition of the KVNR logo in our communications to the market, we are emphasising the importance of that to our members and suppliers.
Besides that support of the communications to the market, we will be joining the KVNR in looking into how we can realise a more active contribution to the OMDS initiative.
We'd like to thank the KVNR for putting their trust in OMDS and 2BA and we're looking forward to a pleasant and enduring collaboration!
